Project Overview

  • Vytal OS is a consumer wellness product from Brastorne that helps people understand their health and build daily habits around it.
  • Neurabit designed and built the full MVP: the mobile app, a business panel for partners, and an admin panel for the Vytal team.
  • AI sits at the centre of the product. Users upload lab reports, the AI extracts every value, and the "Ask Vytal" assistant answers questions in plain language.
  • The complete product was delivered to the specification in the MVP proposal and went through formal acceptance testing.

Challenges

Lab Reports Are Hard to Read

Reports arrive as PDFs and photos in different layouts, and users cannot make sense of the numbers on their own.

Wellness Apps Lose Users Fast

Most health apps are opened a few times and forgotten, so retention had to be built into the product from the start.

Safe AI Answers

AI suggestions needed to stay helpful and non-clinical, and the team needed to change AI behaviour without shipping a new app version.

Partners Need Their Own View

Diagnostic partners needed a business panel to connect to the platform, separate from the consumer app.

Three Products in One MVP

  • Mobile App: Onboarding, biological profile, daily mood and energy check-ins, lab report upload and the Ask Vytal assistant.
  • Business Panel: A partner-facing panel, including the first integration with diagnostics partner Diagnofirm.
  • Admin Panel: User management, content, country settings and AI prompt management.

AI the Team Can Control

  • Lab Report Extraction: AI reads uploaded reports and turns them into structured values on the user's profile.
  • Ask Vytal: A conversational assistant that gives basic, non-clinical lifestyle suggestions and points users to a doctor when needed.
  • Prompt Management: Admins edit, draft and publish the extraction and assistant prompts from the admin panel, with no app store release needed.

Retention Built In

  • Streaks: 10-second daily check-ins with streak rewards to bring users back.
  • Re-engagement: Missed check-in and win-back notifications, configured from the backend without app store approval.

Quality and Acceptance

  • 75 acceptance tests across the admin panel (25), app (38) and business panel (12).
  • Functional UAT, contract acceptance and product acceptance tracked separately, so delivery against scope was always clear.
  • Defects triaged with the Brastorne team in UAT sessions and assigned to the current release or version 2.
